Afterschool Partnership is excited to host Lights On Afterschool: Structuring Out-of-School Time to Improve Academic Achievement! This event is sponsored by The Regional Educational Laboratory and the Louisiana Department of Education. Thursday, October 22, 2009 We invite you to join us for this forum which will focus on research and successful strategies for afterschool programs. Speakers from Louisiana Department of Education, RAND Corporation, Harvard Family Research Project, and local educators will discuss current research and extended learning strategies.
