RSD ALERT: New Afterschool RFP

The Extended School Day Programs RFP (bid number 678PUR81577) is now available on the DOE LaPAC website. All programs that want to offer enrichment and/or tutoring activities afterschool MUST apply via this RFP. If you completed the Truancy RFP, but will focus you efforts on enrichment and/or tutoring afterschool you must reapply with Extended School Day Programs RFP.

Submission DEADLINE = October 1, 2007 with the anticipation that contracts will be executed on October 3, 2007.

After receiving the initial responses from the Truancy and Attendance Prevention and Interventions Services RFP the Recovery School District determined the need for an afterschool specific RFP.

Please plan to attend the non-mandatory pre-proposal conference this
Friday, September 21, 10:00AM at RSD (1641 Poland Avenue, Room 5-A). With such a tight schedule it is highly recommend that at least one representative from your organization attend this conference. Proposers should submit all questions in writing before the deadline for proposers questions of September 24, 2007.

We will not be meeting as the GNOAP this Wednesday, but will resume our regular New Orleans meeting schedule October 17, 2007. We encourage everyone to attend Friday's Pre-Proposal Conference.
