SUMMER CHANGES EVERYTHING IN NOLA

Please remember to mark your calendars for this engaging, motivating and educational training for summer staff!

The morning session will be presented by Erin Ulery from the National Center for Summer Learning. Erin has planned an exciting and interactive presentation to motivate staff and give them skills and ideas to bring back to invigorate summer programming. A buffet lunch will be provided along with opportunities to network with staff from around the region.

In the afternoon those in attendance with have the opportunity to choose between two training sessions:

Sports4Kids will get participants moving and provide them with fun games and activities that can be implemented throughout the day.

Save the Children will conduct training on their hurricane preparedness program, Resilient and Ready. Sites that complete this training will then be able to schedule the delivery of the hurricane preparedness backpacks to their locations for each child in the program.
