Mapping New Orleans

Please join our staff, guests, program funders, and officials with our criminal justice community for a press conference to announce our project, Mapping New Orleans.

Mapping New Orleans, a collaborative project with Youthline America, trains youth to collect information on youth resources by canvassing our area, block by block, community by community. The project’s result will be a comprehensive, web-based youth information, and referrals service data base. The goal is for the entire city of New Orleans to be mapped by the end of 2010.

Please join us to learn more about this innovative, educational program already engaging scores of our city’s youth. And please feel free to invite other staff, board members, or others you believe may be interested in hearing more about this wonderful program for our community’s youth.
